My pair of Edward Green monk straps (Camden model) came back recently after I had sent them off for refurbishment back in May.
Instead of the traditional leather sole, I asked for the hard-wearing Medway Dainite sole. Perfect timing for autumn.
The Medway sole is as durable as the regular Dainite sole but offers better traction in wet conditions. The next step up is the rugged Ridgway sole, which offers even better traction, but the Medway has a slimmer profile.
